BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Auburn junior Trace Crowe was selected as the Southeastern Conference Golfer of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday.
He is the third Tiger to garner distinction from the conference this season, joining Brandon Mancheno and Ben Schlottman.
Crowe won medalist honors at the Gary Koch Invitational after shooting a career-best 16-under in three rounds Monday and Tuesday (69-63-68--200).
The junior’s second round card of 63 matched a program record for lowest score in a round in Auburn history, tying Kyle Kopsick in 2009.
