NORMAN, Okla. – Auburn’s Corey Maggard has been named a finalist for the 2018 Jan Strickland Award presented by TaylorMade, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced Wednesday.
The Strickland Award is presented to the NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA or NJCAA assistant coach that has excelled in working with their student-athletes both on the course and in the classroom.
Maggard is no stranger to the award as he was tabbed a finalist in 2016-17 during his first season as the associate head coach. He was also selected a semifinalist for the annual honor during the 2015-16 season, his second campaign on staff.
