AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn track and field sophomore Xavier Coakley and senior Marshay Ryan have been named to the Southeastern Conference Men’s and Women’s Community Service Teams, the league announced Thursday.
The conference names a Community Service Team for each of its 21 league-sponsored sports, looking to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to his or her community through superior service efforts.
This is the second-consecutive season that Ryan has garnered SEC Community Service Honors. A five time All-American, Ryan has been very active off of the track throughout her four years with the Tigers.
