One of the main concerns with Auburn’s signing class was the lack of offensive tackles. The Tigers struck out on all of their top targets in the 2018 cycle. Auburn also heads into the offseason with lots of question marks surrounding the offensive line. Well help is on the way.
Today on Twitter, former UMass starting right tackle, Jack Driscoll, announced his plans to finish his career on the Plains.
Driscoll will be a redshirt junior in 2018 which means he has two seasons of eligibility left. That’s rare for graduate transfers and means the Tigers just landed a talented prospect at a position of need that can help for the next 2 seasons instead of just being a one year stopgap.
