We may be 3 weeks away from the start of College Basketball season, but recruiting season never ends. Auburn and Bruce Pearl have recruited Point Guard Tyrell “Turbo” Jones for a very long time. On Tuesday evening, that effort paid off.
Auburn Basketball landed its 5th commitment for the Class of 2019 when Jones committed to playing college basketball at Auburn. Jones selected Auburn over Ole Miss, Georgia, Louisville and several others.
Jones is 6’1”, 180 pounds and currently attends the West Oaks Academy in Orlando, Florida. Jones joins Isaac Okoro, Babatunde “Stretch” Akingbola, Jaylin Williams and Allen Flanigan as players committed to begin their collegiate careers during the 2019-2020 season.
