While most of us were asleep last night, Rodney Garner was putting in work. Earlier that afternoon, he landed 3-star defensive end Tobechi Okoli. Late last night, he snagged a long time top target in 4-star defensive tackle Marquis Robinson.
This is a big pickup for the Tigers. Auburn was one of the first major programs to offer Robinson and have made the big man a top priority every since. That early offer paired with the close relationships he built with Auburn’s coaching staff allowed the Tigers to hold off pushes from the likes of Alabama, Georgia, Florida State and Tennessee.
