On Monday, Auburn Basketball got the first commit for the Class of 2021 in Daeshun Ruffin. Today, Auburn got their first Class of 2020 commit.
Justin Powell, a 6’6”, 190-pound guard from North Oldham High School in Goshen, Kentucky, committed to play for Bruce Pearl and the Auburn Tigers beginning in the fall of 2020. Powell is a Louisville native who played his first 2 years at Trinity High School in Louisville before transferring to Montverde Academy in Florida for his junior year. His stay in Florida was short lived and he returned to Kentucky at the end of 2018.
