As we continue our march to kickoff, we take a look at the top 100 recruits to sign with Auburn of all-time*. The rankings are based on 247’s composite recruit rankings, which unfortunately only date back to 2000.
JaQuay Savage (then Williams), originally out of Sandy Springs High School, committed to Auburn in the summer before his senior year. He seemed to be, *ahem* impressed, with receivers coach Trooper Taylor.
“Auburn has one of the best wide receiver coaches in the country,” Williams told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. ”It’s a great tradition down there, and I like the offense.
