AUBURN, Ala. – Senior right-hander Justin Camp threw his first career complete game with a two-hit shutout of Tennessee in a 2-0 win for Auburn baseball on Friday at Plainsman Park.
“Our players came out tonight and played unbelievable defense,” Auburn head coach Butch Thompson said. “Our goal was to knock their guy out in the first inning and get Justin (Camp) some run support. Justin has had two unbelievable outings in a row and I couldn’t be more proud of him. I thought he looked even more fresh in the ninth inning than he did at the start of the game.
