AUBURN, Ala - If Auburn’s series this weekend at Alabama resembles the season’s first meeting between the rivals, Butch Thompson will be a happy coach.

“We played a really good game in Montgomery and think we match up well. It’s another chance for us to win a series. It just happens to be against our in-state rival.”

On March 29, Auburn defeated Alabama, 10-1, in the Max Capital City Classic at Riverwalk Stadium.
