AUBURN, Ala. – Izaac Yarbrough pitched three scoreless innings in relief and Jackson Burgreen reached base for the 18th consecutive game, but Auburn baseball came up short 7-3 to Kennesaw State on Wednesday at Plainsman Park.
“This wasn’t a great night for the Tigers to fight,” Auburn head coach Butch Thompson said. “There just wasn’t a lot of focus tonight. We hit some balls hard at them, but there just wasn’t enough competitive moments out there tonight. We only had one walk and played good defense, there just wasn’t enough offense.
