Baseball. Auburn baseball comes up short to No.4 MSU

AUBURN, Ala.Blake Logan hit his third career homer and Jackson Burgreen reached base for the 21st consecutive game, but Auburn baseball fell to No. 4 Mississippi State 16-6 Saturday at Plainsman Park.

“The eight-run second inning gave us no chance,” Auburn baseball coach Butch Thompson said. “I hate it for Justin (Camp) on Senior Day because he’s meant so much for the program. The guys kept battling but that second inning really buried us.”

MSU jumped out to an 8-0 lead on the back of two homers in the second inning.
