The 2016 Auburn baseball season will either continue or end this weekend when the Tigers travel to Nashville to take on Vanderbilt (37–15) in the final series of the season. It would be an understatement to say the year has been a disappointment.
After being swept this past weekend by No. 4 Mississippi State, Auburn rebounded Tuesday in its final 2016 home game at Plainsman Park. The Tigers took a third inning 2–1 lead over UAB, and Jordan Ebert and Melvin Gray drove in two additional runs in the seventh to give the Tigers a 4–1 victory over the Blazers.
