Some news broke not long ago from the Auburn basketball camp, concerning one of the biggest cogs on the Tiger roster.
It doesn’t seem to be a cause for major alarm, as there won’t be any surgery to repair the broken bone. Still, having played (and played well) on a broken left leg while on the USA U19 team makes you wince a bit. Austin Wiley should be ready for the start of preseason work for the Auburn basketball team, and more than healed by the time scrimmages and the regular season begins.
Wiley showed off in the FIBA U19 World Cup in Egypt over the past few weeks, as he became the only player on the American team to average a double-double.
