AUBURN, Ala. – Kerryon Johnson has shown patience on his runs, persevered through injures and played through two disappointing seasons.

Thus, it’s understandable why he’s eager to play in the biggest game of his Auburn career Saturday against rival Georgia, the top team in the College Football Playoff rankings, at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

“I’m just excited for it to be here,” Johnson said Tuesday. “You got to go to class all day. Go to meetings, then practice, and you try to not to think about Saturday, but I’m definitely ready for it to be here.”

Johnson said Saturday’s game will rank in the “top-three atmospheres” he’s played in in his three years, with last season’s games against Clemson and LSU being the other two.
