The third year of the Hugh Freeze era at Auburn starts on Friday night in Waco, Texas, as the Tigers take on Baylor in a primetime matchup on FOX.
Auburn is attempting to recover from a disappointing 2024 season that concluded with a 5-7 record. The Tigers have plenty of firepower on offense with wide receivers Cam Coleman and Eric Singleton Jr., while new quarterback Jackson Arnold and running back Damari Alston fill the backfield.
Keldric Faulk leads the Tigers' defense on the defensive line, while Robert Woodyard Jr. and company fill the role at linebacker. Champ Anthony returns from an injury that cost him the final eight games last season and rejoins a secondary with talented Kayin Lee, Jay Crawford and Kaleb Harris, among others.
