Auburn Tigers offensive coordinator Mike Bobo out after just one season

Auburn offensive coordinator Mike Bobo is out after just one season with the Tigers, the school confirmed Tuesday.

Bobo was brought in by first-year coach Bryan Harsin, and the Tigers showed flashes of offensive efficiency during the season, but they ultimately ended 6-6 and way out of contention in the SEC West.

Spokesman Kirk Sampson confirmed Tuesday that Bobo isn't being retained. He was hired in January with a three-year contract worth $1.3 million annually. Auburn will owe him the remaining $2.6 million.

Auburn finished 3-5 in the SEC, but perhaps Bobo would still be with the program had the Tigers held on for what would have been a massive upset last week.
