Central-Phenix City wideout Cameron Coleman, who snubbed Auburn football in a Fourth of July shocker to join Texas A&M instead, has pushed the Aggies into the top spot on Mike Farrell of Mike Farrell Sports‘ “hottest teams on the recruiting trail” rankings.
“WR Cam Coleman from Alabama is a massive get and continues a hot trend for Jimbo Fisher,” Farrell prefaced before saying, “Nine commitments since June 22 have pushed them into the national top 10.”
Coleman, along with Red Devils defensive back Rydarrius “Red” Morgan, spurned the Plains — which is just a 40-minute drive from Phenix City — in order to join an out-of-state Power Five program.
