Auburn RB Durell Robinson out indefinitely with 'freak injury'

Auburn's running back depth just got smaller.

On Monday, Tigers' head coach Hugh Freeze announced that backup running back Durell Robinson is out indefinitely after having to be rushed to Birmingham for a procedure after waking up on Sunday morning with a collection of blood on his thigh.

"He's going to out for a little while," the coach said.

Freeze called it a "freak" issue for the Auburn running back. In the 42-3 victory over Ball State on Saturday night in Jordan-Hare Stadium, Robinson rushed for a 54-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, his first score in an Auburn uniform.
