Jarrett Stidham hasn’t taken a snap for Auburn. He hasn’t played a down of football since November 21, 2015. But he’s already grabbing attention from NFL scouts.
NFL.com draft analyst Lance Zierlein ranks the Tigers’ newcomer as one of his 11 quarterbacks to watch in college football for the 2017 season.
That’s impressive for a player who started three games and threw just 109 passes in one season at Baylor and hasn’t yet appeared in a gane for coach Gus Malzahn’s Tigers.
Zierlein, though, says Stidham’s “combination of arm strength, mechanics and athleticism” makes him an interesting prospect for NFL teams.
