Big Cat Weekend started with a bang. Auburn’s biggest recruiting event is underway this afternoon and one of the attendees, 4-star RB Damari Alston, just announced his commitment. He’s going to be an Auburn Tiger.
Alston has a lengthy offer list but trimmed it down to a final 3 of Auburn, LSU, and Northwestern. He flirted with heavily with UNC and Penn State as well but both of those programs filled their RB room very quickly. As for Auburn, Alston has always been on their radar but it appeared both sides were headed opposite ways earlier this cycle.
