Back in February, Gus Malzahn told the media that he expected the 2020 OL class to be one of his biggest yet. A week later, 3* OG Avery Jernigan committed to the Tigers setting the tone for what did turn out to be one of Auburn’s largest OL classes. Now Jernigan is officially an Auburn Tiger.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that one the first Letter of Intents Auburn received today is from Jernigan. The Georgia native has been one of the foundational pieces of Auburn’s 2020 class. He and Tate Johnson have been two of the most vocal recruiters of Auburn commits on social media in this class.
