Auburn has won double-digit games in back-to-back seasons only once in program history when the Tigers went 10-2 in 1988 and 1989. Last season, Auburn finished 10-4 despite losing its final two games of the season to Georgia in the SEC Championship Game and to UCF in the Peach Bowl.
With its 3,000-yard passing quarterback Jarrett Stidham returning, both coordinators back and a defensive line that is considered to be one of the best in the nation, expectations are high on the Plains.
Auburn enters Week 1 ranked No. 9 in the AP Top 25.
