This past week Auburn football has appeared all over various preseason watchlists for awards. I’m convinced that these watchlists are really only announced to hype up the public for football season. Kickoff is still a month away and fall camp hasn’t started yet so there really is no better time for these lists to roll out. I can’t help but get hyped to see all of the Auburn players named in these lists. Even Gus Malzahn is on a watchlist for Coach of the Year and no, it’s not for which coach has the hottest seat.

Projected First Team All-SEC Tigers OL Prince Tega Wanogho and DT Derrick Brown have also been named to the Outland Trophy Watchlist (nation’s best interior lineman).
