We are now one month out from the 2023 college football season, and the Auburn football team is gearing up to prove a lot of people wrong. While new head coach Hugh Freeze worked his tail off on the recruiting trail during the offseason and brought in over 40 new faces to the program, there are still a few returners that are expected to make a big impact this season.
One of those guys is cornerback D.J. James. After three years at Oregon, James transferred back to his home state to play for Auburn football in 2022.
