In a meeting earlier in the season, Auburn walked into Neyland Stadium in Knoxville and did whatever they wanted against the Volunteers, beating up Tennessee in a 34-10 victory.
Coach Phillip Fulmer and Tennessee would get another shot at Auburn in the SEC Championship, but once again, the Tigers were too strong.
