Matthew Hill is leaving the Auburn football program–marking the ninth member of the 2018 class to transfer from the Tigers.
It may seem like the sky is falling for Auburn football right now. Dare I say it wouldn’t be unfair to say that following news that Matthew Hill–a former wide receiver who is now a member of the secondary–is following the lead of eight other members of Gus Malzahn’s 2018 recruiting class by transferring:
Hill, a four-star wide receiver in the Class of 2018, caught eight passes for 46 yards and ran four times for 36 yards during his first two seasons on the Plains before moving to defensive back prior to this season.
