AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn volleyball team added another honor to last season as the squad earned an American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2016-17 academic school year.
Auburn was one of 145 Division I schools and seven SEC programs to be rewarded with the annual honor. The AVCA initiated the yearly award for the 1992-93 academic year and it honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.
