HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Led by a final-round 73 from freshman Kayley Marschke, the Auburn women’s golf team concluded play at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate Sunday afternoon at the Long Cove Club.
Marschke was the Tigers’ top finisher in the event, posting scores of 70-79-73=222 (+9) to tie for 27th place. Her final-round 73 was the Tigers’ top score of the day as she carded three birdies along with five bogeys.
Junior Kelli Murphy tied for 43rd place at 75-74-76=225 (+12), and freshman Elena Hualde was one shot back, tied for 47th place.
