If you're a bit confused on what exactly The Opening is, Bud Elliot has a primer on the event. Essentially, it's a chance for 166 high school athletes to compete against each other and further get evaluated. They're already top prospects, so it's not like they're worried about getting offers. It's more like they're trying to enhance their already good positions.
The Opening is a three day event. Today will consist of the measurements, drills, etc similar to the NFL Combine or Pro Day on campus.
