The road struggles continued for the Tigers this past Saturday night, as the men traveled to Gainesville to receive their worst loss of the season. Playing on the road has been the achilles heel of the usually sharp-shooting men, who use the home crowd to spur on monstrous scoring runs and stifling defense.
Neither of those attributes were on display as the Gators hammered Auburn.
Auburn drops to 9-9 on the season and 3-4 in the SEC after winning back-to-back SEC games against Kentucky and Alabama. With Saturday’s loss to the Gators, the streak of losses to Florida is extended to nine.
