Auburn basketball’s 2020-21 season was not one to forget, but for very depressing reasons.
2020-21 was the year the NCAA robbed the Tigers of seeing Sharife Cooper. It was also the year the team couldn’t partake in the postseason. Oh, and Alabama won the SEC regular-season title and is looking like a possible #2 or #3 seed in the NCAA tournament.
Perhaps most tragic, though, was seeing Justin Powell get shut down after just ten games in a Tigers uniform. Auburn basketball fans never got a chance to see their three top-100 recruits (Powell, Cooper, JT Thor) on the floor together at the same time.
