This is easily one of the ugliest developments in college basketball history, and it is not nearly over. This is only the beginning of what will for sure lead to changes in the NCAA and how it is run.
Back in September, the FBI came down hard on Auburn basketball. Chuck Person was arrested and two other administrators were put on leave. Austin Wiley and Danjel Purifoy were suspended indefinitely, as the two were said to have received payments.
Auburn has been magnificent this year without those guys. It is unfortunate that they were immediately sat down, but it was a smart decision.
