Of course, Justin Powell’s 26 points and eight rebounds were the primary catalyst for their win, but Allen Flanigans’ 16 points and Jaylin Williams’ eight assists were also helpful.
Either way, the team now owns a winning record at 3-2, and they look to keep the momentum going on Tuesday night against Texas Southern. The battle of the Tigers will happen for the fourth time in school history.
