Auburn baseball had a successful week on the Plains, and boy did they need it. After a succession of losses and getting beat by just one point multiple times in the last series against rival Alabama, the Tigers got a momentum boost with wins against Samford and Jacksonville State this past week.
Auburn faced the Samford Bulldogs on Tuesday, racking up six runs by the third inning and never allowing the Bulldogs to catch up, beating them 6-4.
