Last season, Auburn had five players named to the first team, including SEC Offensive Player of the Year Kerryon Johnson. This season, no offensive players made the first team, and only Deshaun Davis made the first team on defense for Auburn. Derrick Brown was the Tigers’ only other honoree, with a spot on the second-team defensive lineup.
Fifteen of the players on the first and second teams came from either Alabama or Georgia, meaning that Auburn’s biggest rivals are still the most littered with talent.
