Auburn sophomore forward Anfernee McLemore was stretchered off the court after he suffered a gruesome injury to his foot or ankle during the Tigers' SEC clash at South Carolina on Saturday.
Justin Ferguson of SEC Country compared the injury to the one suffered by Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward in Boston's season opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers in October.
Per Josh Vitale of the Opelika-Auburn News, McLemore was injured when he got tangled with teammate Desean Murray.
According to Tom Green of AL.com, McLemore's foot bent in the wrong direction, and he screamed in pain.
