Earlier this week, the Auburn football program welcomed its 33rd head coach in Alex Golesh. After two hires that ended in disaster and five consecutive losing seasons, there is a lot of hope that the former USF head coach can turn things around on the Plains.
In his introductory press conference, Golesh was asked by media members to describe his offense, and it should have been music to the ears of every true Auburn football fan. The first thing the Tigers' new head coach brought up about his scheme was the run game.
“I would tell you that the foundation of it is that everything starts with the run," Golesh said.
