Both Alabama and Auburn have hired women to lead their football recruiting departments.
Both Leah Knight and Mollie Moore announced Thursday on Twitter that they have been hired at Alabama and Auburn, respectively, as the programs’ directors of recruiting operations.
Knight has been hired for the role at Alabama, a position she had held at Colorado State since the spring; Moore has been hired at Auburn after serving as Georgia’s recruiting program coordinator since 2015.
Knight, a Fayette, Alabama native, is an Alabama graduate, while Moore is a Birmingham, Alabama native who graduated from Auburn.
Prior to her promotion this spring as director of recruiting operations, Knight had been Colorado State’s assistant director of football operations the past two seasons.
