The 2017 AP All-America Teams were announced just now, and Auburn ended up being a pretty heftily-represented bunch after it was all said and done.

Braden Smith earned Auburn’s only first-team honors, as he was joined at the first-team offensive guard spot by Quenton Nelson from Notre Dame. Kerryon Johnson, Daniel Carlson, and Carlton Davis all earned second-team distinction from the Associated Press.

Johnson was joined in the second-team backfield by Wisconsin freshman running back Jonathan Taylor, and finished behind Heisman finalist Bryce Love and Rashaad Penny on the first team.
