After a couple of weeks of bad news for the Auburn football team in terms of recruiting, good news has finally hit. 4-star offensive tackle Wilson Zierer announced his commitment to the Tigers on Thursday.
The brother of former Auburn football offensive tackle Killian Zierer, the Tigers' newest commit is ranked as the No. 27 offensive tackle in the recruiting class of 2026 and the No. 37 player out of the state of Georgia. Zierer ultimately chose Auburn football over Alabama and Florida State and had almost 30 offers.
Despite Zierer's legacy status, the Tigers and offensive line coach Jake Thornton had to put in a lot of work to keep the OT from choosing one of the other schools on his list.
