There's something about brothers when it comes to the 2026 Auburn recruiting class. Just hours after Shadarius and Shadrick Toodle signed with the Tigers, two other brothers, Corey and Chris Weels, have made a flip on the first day of the Early Signing Period to the Tigers.
Corey, a 4-star defensive lineman from Petal, Miss., announced his flip from Texas to Auburn at a press conference featuring the two brothers. The 6-foot-5, 330-pound prospect had been committed to the Longhorns since June, but Vontrell King-Williams, Auburn's defensive line coach, stayed in touch and telling him why the Plains would be the best choice.
