- WOW! Did not see Colby Wooden starting at the DT next to Truesdell. I was a big fan of Wooden coming out of high school but assumed his future was on the edge. Kevin Steel though praised the fredshirt freshman last week and it appears he’s done enough to earn the starting no replacing Derrick Brown
- The other bigger surprise was at cornerback.
