The most “controversial” play from that game has recirculated the internet this week. Yep, Auburn plays Oregon in a top 20 match up on Saturday and the whole world knows it.
The Tigers and Ducks were tied at 19 all with less than two minutes remaining in the 2011 game when Michael Dyer was tackled in Oregon territory but was never ruled down. Dyer’s body nor the ball made contact with the ground and there was never enough evidence to overturn the call. Oregon fans believe the run should have never counted because Dyer’s wrist touched the ground.
