The Auburn Tigers have picked up their fifth commitment for the class of 2017. Three-star linebacker Chandler Wooten committed to Auburn Friday afternoon. The decision was announced at halftime of his high school's spring game.
AL.com reports that Wooten had been silently committed to Auburn for weeks. He spoke highly of Auburn last week.
"I really just vibe with the whole entire staff at Auburn, even offensive coaches," Wooten told AL.com. "I love the way I fit in at Auburn and how they run things. I can definitely see myself going there."
Wooten is the No. 423 overall recruit in the nation. The Georgia native is the nation's No. 30 OLB. The Tigers beat out Tennessee and Florida to land Wooten.
