3 Top 2016 Recruits Auburn Can Still Land Before Signing Day

The Auburn Tigers reeled in another recruiting class in 2015, but head coach Gus Malzahn is poised to bring in more top prospects in 2016. Here are three top recruits that could sign with the Tigers on Signing Day:

DT Rashan Gary
Auburn has some ground to make up to land the top overall recruit in the country, but they are firmly in the mix to land him. Gary is being hyped as a generational talent, and he's got the brute force, instincts and natural quickness to live up to the hype and then some. He is the real deal.

ATH Stephen Davis Jr.
The son of former Auburn running back Stephen Davis, who rushed for 2,811 yards and 30 touchdowns for the Tigers from 1993-95, Davis Jr. commited to the Tigers way back in August. The four-star Irmo (SC) Dutch Fork standout plays multiple positions at the prep level, but is being recruited to Auburn as a safety. That figures with Davis' innate athleticism and NFL prototype 6-foot-4, 215-pound frame.

WR Nate Craig-Myers
The #3 receiver (and #33 overall prospect) decommitted from Auburn in May, but the Tigers are still one of the favorites to land him. Over 1/3 of the programs at the FBS level have at least showed interest in the 6-foot-2, 205-pound Tampa product, fawning over his route-running ability and propensity for making opposing defensive backs look absolutely silly. He'll take an offical visit to Auburn on Jan. 15, and another to Ole Miss on Jan. 29.
