World Cup Matchday 19: Forsberg sends Sweden to the Quarters, England finally wins a penalty shootout

No Zlatan? No problem. Sweden has advanced to the quarter finals, thanks to a deflected shot from Emil Forsberg.

Despite having many chances to equalize, Switzerland was unable to finish any of their chances, which included a goal line clearance from none other than Emil Forsberg. With this win, Sweden has moved into the last eight teams in the tournament.

Another European team is into the quarterfinals — the Three Lions defeated Colombia in a thriller that could only be decided with penalty kicks. Harry Kane scored a second half penalty kick to put England ahead. Their lead looked good enough to win, until Colombian center back Yerry Mina headed in a stoppage time equalizer to send the game to extra time.
