After making his first start for Atlanta United in the club’s scoreless draw against the Seattle Sounders last Friday, Jacob Peterson will likely miss Saturday’s match against the other MLS Cup 2016 finalist.
Doug Roberson of the AJC reports that Peterson sustained an injury in training this week and is likely out for the much-anticipated Eastern conference clash with Toronto TC.
The 31-year-old who signed with the club as a free agent ahead of their inaugural season has been a nice role player for Tata Martino to have to utilize.
