The North Carolina Courage have announced that Scott Vallow will join the coaching staff for the 2017 season. Vallow was an assistant for the WNY Flash last year and managed the team for three games and the championship when coach Paul Riley was suspended from matches.
Vallow has extensive experience coaching and was with coach Riley in 2015 when they were both with the Portland Thorns. Riley commented about the hiring saying, "Scott has been a tremendous asset to the club and to bring him to North Carolina provides the team with a consistency of technical staff and a right hand man who is soccer savvy, knowledgeable, well loved and a superb human,.
