The Atlanta Silverbacks will host Savannah Clovers FC at 4:00pm today at Silverbacks Park in the final home preseason match before the 2017 NPSL season.
This preseason, the Backs have drawn Dalton State College 1-1 and defeated the Latino League All-Stars 2-1. They also hosted a friendly with the Sons of Pitches at the Silverbacks Fan Fest. The game against Savannah will serve as the penultimate tune-up match before the 2017 NPSL season kicks off on May 6.
Today’s match will be the first in a two-game friendly series with Savannah. Founded in 2016, the Clovers are a non-league side that have set their sights on bringing NPSL soccer to the Square City.
